Sarah Brees, daughter of Timothy Brees and Elizabeth Doty, married (1) Michael Stophlet, (2) John Sutton. 

• Samuel Stophlet (1808-1865)who was active in public affairs in Fort Wayne, IN. 
• Betsey Stophlet b. 1810 in PA and who apparently never married. 
• Katherine A. Stophlet (1809-1875)who married George Roebuck and lived in Dublin Co., OH. After Michael Stophlet died, Sarah moved to OH and married John Sutton about 1816. They settled in Mercer Co., OH.

 Children with John Sutton were: 

• Zachariah, b. 1818, who married Lear and had 3 sons, and Mary Ann Herb and had nine children.
• Mary b. 1820. 
• Jesse b. 1826, who had 4 children with his wife, Rose; (4)William b. 1828, who had at least 1 son with wife, Hannah; (5)and Phebe b. 1840. John Sutton and his descendents were farmers.

Sarah was born 30 Dec 1788 in PA and died 17 Feb 1861 in Dublin Township, Mercer Co., OH. She is buried in Chivington Cemetery.
