Hosea Breese, was a son of Henry and Phoebe Hayden. He was born 5 April 1815, Washington Co. Pennsylvania; died 25 August 1887, Richland Co. Wisconsin. Buried Mayfield Cemetery, Richland Co. Married first to Mary (Polly) Sargent on 7 Aug 1838, Athens Co. Ohio. They had nine children. All born in Athens Co. Ohio EXCEPT possibly #9 Lovina. These children all lived in Richland Co. Wisconsin, and all with the exception of Findley and Caroline, were mentioned in the probate records for their father. Hosea Breese married for the second time to Susanna Kincaid on 10 March 1878, in Richland Co. Wisconsin. After the death of Hosea, Susanna married Robert W. Roach.  No children, known by me, of this marriage.
