In the name of god amen I Wyllys Pierson of the
state of Ohio and County of Hamilton being in perfect health of body and
mind and memory thanks be to god for the same Calling into mind the mortality
of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die I do
make and ordain
this my Last will and Testament that is to say principally and first of
all I give and Recommend my Sole into the hands of Amity god that gave
it and my body I recommend to the Earth to be buried in a decent
Christian manner at the discretion of my Executors Northin douting But
at the general Resurection I shall Recieve the same again by the Amity
power of god and as to my worldly Estate wherewith it has pleased god to
bless me with in this life I give and demise(sic) and dispose of the
same in the following manner and form first I constitute and appoint my
son Wyllys Pierson and my good friend John Jones Esquire of the state of
Ohio to be my Executors of this my Last will and testament and to proceed
as
follows that is they are to Sell all my Estate or property both Real and
personal and to pay all my honest debts and first I give and bequeath to
Mary my beloved wife one third part of all my Estate and Likewise her
Side saddle that she now Rides on and then i give my well beloved
Children all the Remainder as follows I give unto Abraham Ruth Hannah
Eunice Moses Mary Elizabeth and Wyllys and I give unto these my beloved
Children and equal divide or share one with another Except my wearing apparel
which I give unto my three sons to be Equally divided by themselves as
they see fit and this I confirm to be my last will and Testament in
witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this third day of
April in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and ten.

the filing of the will of Wyllys Pierson was 08/18/1810. It is located
in HM Will Book 5, page 292,Hamilton County Probate Court, 230 E. 9th
Street, 10th Floor, Cincinnati, OH 45202. The will was proved at a
Special Court of Common Pleas held on 13 Sep 1810. The information as to
